We wanted clothes genuinely comfortable enough for the sofa, a quiet Sunday or an entire day working from home. But we also wanted clothes that didn’t make us feel underdressed if someone came to the door.
Clothes we could keep wearing to go downstairs, get coffee, run an errand, meet someone for lunch—or, with the right piece, go for an informal dinner.
The clothes existed.
Finding them was the problem.
They were scattered across different brands, retailers and categories. Some were called loungewear. Some relaxed tailoring. Some travel wear. Some had no useful category at all.
So we created Smart One-Mile: a place that brings them together and organizes them around how people actually live.
Not everything has to do everything.
Some clothes are simply exceptional at home. Others bridge the gap between home and the outside world. We want to find both—and explain the difference honestly.
